[SOLVED] Software Troubles

Ok, so I recently got over the plauge of my zune not hooking up with my computer (thanks again to dizzy), but now that I have decided to actually get some podcasts on to my zune, I find out that I can't! When I select download, It sits there for a minute and then something pops up saying that the software must close! I tried looking for a cure (which I din't find), but did find that there was a new update. I thought that might help, but when I tried to download it I got the cood0109 (I don't think that is exactly it) error. I clicked on web help and it said that it was related to downloading music and video trouble. So, yea, trouble again. What a surprise. I don't know if I should uninstall my software and then reinstall it, or if that will help at all. I think my computer is crap though (a 2000 or a 2001, can't remember). Help would be much apreciated. Just ask a question about it and i will answer best I can. Thanks in advance to the zune-genius' at this website...

Well, the Zune software does require 512MB of RAM, you might consider saving for a new computer.

I would try uninstalling with UnZoone, and reinstalling.

yeah, definitely wouldn't hurt to uninstall and reinstall the software. Since your computer is slightly older, disable the graphic enhancements in the options for it to run smoother. also, try setting in the options so that you download one podcast only at a time onto your computer and zune. see if that works

The computer works fine, a little slow, but ok. I do lower the grfics accelerator down a peg or two, because the sowftware has the garbled words most of the time. I'm going to try the uninstal right now... and also: it is a family computer I'm using, but may thouroly consider buying a new one "For the enjoyment of my loving Family"
