Damn Zune Software

Alright, so, in a stupid manouver, I actually followed some of the brilliant advice of some members on these boards in order to stop my zune from automatically deleting songs and such. And because I made such an idiotic mistake, my zune is now useless to me, as it will not connect with Zune Software. I have done everything I can, uninstalled and reinstalled four times now, and am superbly pissed off. I believe if nothing can be reached to remedy this problem, I will sell the damn thing and buy an f'ing iPod. At least they don't have problems like this.

Calm down. Setting your Zune into guest mode will do no harm.

Does your Zune Bootup?

If it does I would recommend doing a reset(deletes content), uninstalling using UnZoone, and reinstalling using SZIP2.

Just as greg said, does it turn on at all? What happens when you connect it?

Okay, I fused unzoone, which re-installed it, and for about 20 minutes, absolutely nothing happened. Randomly, however, it connected, which is helpful.

So, I apologize for the ranting there, I was pretty mad. I am going to use zAlternator to perhaps sync with iTunes?

I'm pretty sure zAlt won't work if you've got a bad driver. Try updating your software to the new version
