Default the new zune software


the new software update thing
its like completly different from the old one
and it doesnt let me edit album info
thus all my songs are going into random albums
example:


album 1=brand new-your favorite weapon
blah blah like 3 songs

album 2=brand new-unknown album
blah blah like 1 song



and it doesnt let me edit the info so they all go into the same album
can anyone help me?

You may want to look at getting a separate program for editing tags like mp3Tag or MediaMonkey. However, you can also use Windows Media Player.

First, remove the songs from the Zune Collection but don't delete the files. For what you want to do, load up all of the songs in Windows Media Player. Then drag and drop them on top of each other repeatedly until they are all in the same album. Once they are all in one album, reimport those songs into the Zune Collection.

If that does not work, you will need to use a separate tagging program to set the Album Artist to the same value for all of the songs. That will also group them together.
