Ok this problem is with the software loaded on the computer used to manage the files. I have holy diver by killswitch engage and somebody is watching me by warmen. These are both covers... i realize this, but when i load the songs into the program it tells me that the artist is dio and rockwell. It also takes them out of the folders I had them in i.e. killswitch engage and warmen. I looked at the file info and it says nothing about rockwell or dio in the file so its not getting it from there... i also have the microsoft adder of incomplete information turned of in the zune software.
All I have to say is that the softwares interface is horrible Thanks in advance for any help. Last edited by chubbs : 12-16-2007 at 02:03 PM. Reason: some information resolved |

Mixed Album Art is a known issue with the new software. Simply go here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en for the official Microsoft patch for the Zune Software.
Hope that helps... ![]()

I already tried that... when i reload the same thing happens only now all my radiohead is listed under warmen lol. Its not like that in my actual music folder though... just the program. Thanks for the help though.
Ok, so I changed the zunestore.sdf file to zunestore.sdf.old as advised in the zune.net forums and that fixed the thing about the artists being listed as the wrong ones for the cover songs, but my radiohead is still listed in warmen. One step closer though... Last edited by chubbs : 12-16-2007 at 05:20 PM. Reason: found partial solution |

Changing zunestore.sdf is actually what the reset tool does, so you repeated yourself : )
You might look at your tags and make sure they're correct. Read through this thread for some additional info, paying attention to the type of tags the MP3 files should have: http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/gen...g-library.html

It fixes errors generated when the Zune software misreads your MP3's Tags.
You shouldn't have to run it every time you add new songs, but occasionally you might need it more then once.
