Proper format for converted video

As I stated in an earlier post, I to was stricken by the horrible speed and conversion of my wmv files when downloaded to my 80. Well today I called Zune support, and posed the question to them.What program will allow downloads to be added without conversion, and was told the proper format for both of my zunes (30 & 80) would be mp4 video. I converted the movie "War" to this format and downloaded it to my 80. Aw man it was a wonderful thing the files was transferred without conversion quickly, "saints be praised"

So imho mp4 video is the way to load your videos as I have and will

As I said in the other thread, the Zune 30 DOES NOT accept MP4, so the rep you talked with obviously was clueless. The 80 does though, and I'm jealous of that fact.

When converting, just make sure you're within the guidelines of acceptable videos. Look on Zune.net's Technical Specs for each device and you'll see what it can handle.
