As Dizzy said. Also, there are many programs you can use to edit the tags of the songs. MP3tag is a popular one. My favorite is zMeta though. You'll be able to find them either in that thread Dizzy posted or somewhere else in the forum.

I just go to the song properties and change it there.

I still see nowhere in the program for editing the individual track numbers. That list view has no such option. Retagging my id3's is also not an option. I also see no option for setting track # in properties in zune soft. The old software was so much better than this cruddy new version and allowed you to edit the track #'s in the actual zune db easily.

Right Click on the categories in list view and add the Track numbers field

In some respects it does.
You're right, I can't get it to edit either. Thus you'll have to use third party software (MP3tag).

This is my only gripe about the new Zune Software that you cant edit the track numbers, also editing album art can be a bitch
What I did was 'hack' my Zune so it couls sync to WMP11... that way I get the ability to edit my song data as I see fit Last edited by Master Blaster 411 : 02-27-2008 at 04:13 AM. Reason: run on used word twice |
