greg i tryed your stuff and still it wouldn't work. do u kno a special zune install for windows xp home edition?? if u do that would be great

This issue is frustrating me horrendously.

I'm running WINXP SP2

Mine is doing this as well, but strangely I find that the zune still works (including syncing, ripping cd's, making playlists, etc.) in the background behind the error message. Very annoying, but I just wait until it's finished doing whatever task I'm doing before closing it.

I expected this w/a Microsoft product, but this software is buggy and fragile even for them!
