[SOLVED] Zune 2.0 software would not download!

Ok, i updated my zune software to 2.0 and my firmware to ver. 2.2, but the next day the software suddenly reverted back to it's former version ( you know the black-colored layout one). Then i tried to download the new software again, since i can't sync with the software with the new firmware, but whenever i tried downloading the software from zune.net/setup, it would always say that my software is up to date, but it's not. Can anyone help me on how to fix this

Also, i've planned on trying to keep the sofware as it is and to delete everything on my zune so i can update back to the 1.4 firmware. But i need intake on if it's a good idea, becuase my zune is the halo 3 edition and it has all that pre-loaded videos, soundtracks, and pictures.

Can anybody help me?

What version of software do you currently have? Click on help->about in the software to see.

If you're using the old version, uninstall using Unzoone (http://remove-it.org/tools/unzoone) and the reinstall using SZIP v2 (http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/com...-v2-redux.html)

I did what you said and the software is now working, however, the software is still unable to recognize the zune.

When i connect my zune to the pc there would be a message on the device that says "To start, update the Zune software on your pc at zune.net/setup. I did update it , i actually downloaded it a couple of times, but the message still comes up to tell me that i need to update it for it to be recognized.
