A primitave method for deleting songs from collection w/o deleting from zune.
Ok, first go to settings, then device. See where it says forget this device... click it. then it pops up with something saying that you have disconnect then reconnect blah blah blah. don't do it yet. go over to your music collection and then delete whatever you want. Now, disconnect and then reconnect. then it pops up with your zune... click next. personally, i like to have it set to choose my stuff... yeah. click finish. Volia....

But once you reconnect the Zune wont all the songs erase from your Zune if they are no longer on your PC?

No, because the Zune doesn't erase stuff when it first connects (which this'll trick it in to thinking it's doing)

I'm waiting for a major software update before I go to v2 software so that I don't have to deal with this stuff...

So you do all this in the beginning when you first connect or when you are done adding songs?

Ditto. I haven't synced yet, which is why my ZuneCard remains at Zero plays.
