The Blue Angels ... Sorta... (photos)

Man Today I went to go see the blue angels. I had a blast but never actually saw them We got there at 9 AM and they still had not flown at 3 PM and I was getting sunburned so we decided to just go. We did get too see some cool stuff though.

Yup! I'm in Air force JROTC right now getting my Pilots license.

I'm not that active except for the Ground school part. It's also only my 2nd year in ROTC. Anyways I'm a E-3, Airmen 1st Class. Although had I not been Failing English last year I would be a Senior Airmen. If I had been in public school since I was a freshman I would be alot further along in my rankings though.

On a side note Why does everyone always bash ROTC cadets? The other day we were getting our uniform inspected last period (indoors since it was raining) and the bell rang well we couldn't break ranks until dismissed. Well this little bitch walks by and says "Look at all these kids lined up like little dolls what losers." and she said it loud enough for the whole damn hall to hear. Pisses me off when they do that. Sure we haven't defended the country or anything like that but we represent the people who DO, some of us even have parents and brothers/sisters overseas. anyways that's my little rant.

the blue angels are amazing, i went to see them a couple weeks ago. it was really cold and cloudy though so there wasn't much to see that day... except the blue angels

the cloud cover rose just before the blue angels went on and they were able to perform the majority of their stunts, it was really cool to because when they flew overhead there was enough moisture in the air that it would start to rain because they were cutting the air or something (not really sure how but it rained only when they were over our heads)
