So am I the only who doesn't know how to drive...
And that's over 18?
Just curious on this forum. I kinda have an excuse(New York City, Subway, Buses), but I got to go to the DMV soon and get something.
I know you need a sig. Why not send me your request via PM?
Times up, let's go, all that we know,
Release tension, you're my hero!
After dark, terror in the town high street
And I know you can't stop full throttle,
Get involved mate, broken bottle!
Invasion! Panic on the cold concrete...

driving isnt really that hard..playing racing games like grand tourism really paid off because the first time i drove a car(first time was around the block) it was quite easy.
edit: driving go carts also helped

hell, NYC is a bi*ch to get a license in anyways if you are under 18, all sorts of restrictions on when/how/and with whom you can drive, way worse than us lucky ones north of you
It's not that I'm afraid. Or that I can't.
Hell, my dad is a car mechanic and used to be a car salesman.
I just never saw the need to drive if I can get anywhere in NYC for 2.25(Now).
Ya, I guess it just depends on where you live. Here in Miami, with everything being so spread out, if you can't drive yourself around you're not getting anywhere. Though that also has to do with our worse than horrible public transportation down here.
Be glad that you don't have to drive everywhere.

You learned to drive through racing games... What state are you in/should I avoid?

You shouldn't feel like you have to get one if you don't need to. The test for getting your license is essentially common sense; it's ridiculously easy.
Also, dood learn how to drive stick. It definitely pays off.

Well, I wanna have it just to have it.
I mean, I won't be using it to drive around the city, unless I wanna stay stuck in traffic and look for parking(Of course, this won't always happen).
But you never know when you need to drive. Plus, I feel kinda overdue O_o
I'm too young for license, I've driven ATV's.(The ATV was an auto shift.) It was an Arctic Cat (I don't know the model though, all I know was the model was designed for farmers & towing.) My father has already taught me the rules of the road.
(I was driving in the country.)

Avoid Washington, in an accident, the person responsible(legally)is the person behind. If some idiot backed up into you, you'd be in trouble.

Go get it then? Or do have to take the class/get your permit?
Take the test.
Get the permit.
"Learn"
Take test.
???
Profit
Well in my state I had to "drive for 50 hours" before I could get my license, but you can easily bull**** that if it's a requirement.
And you might have to take a certain amount of school (driver's ed.) hours before you get your permit. I don't remember for sure though.
