I once programed mIRC to play clap.wav at 8am which activated my clapper and turned on my light and started my coffee for me.

Can anyone beat that?

Once I was playing King Kong (for achievements) and I was too lazy to get my zune from my desk, so I got my grabber and got it.
Is that a geek move?
I'm not sure.
The grabber has a geek squad sticker on it.

Installed a light switch next to my bed so i didn't have to walk the couple of feet to turn it on......

I don't care for waiting the entire minute for boot-up so I rarely shut down my computer. That's about it.

In the 3 years Ive had my computer it's only been shut down a total of 4 times.

1 time i was gone for a 2 week vacation

the other 3 were power outages.
