OMG!! Is this real?

I was on Digg in the "Upcoming" section when I noticed something called "Girl locked in my basement." I went to the site and it showed a video of a guy who locked up a girl. Is this real? Should anyone call the police?

Yeah but there have been lots of times things like this have happened. Like when that guy stole this one dude, Jesse McPhearson's Xbox 360 and then sent him an Xbox Live message. He got internet ridicule until he gave it back.

Besides, we can't see much of anything in this video besides a girl locked up possibly going to be raped!!

It ain't real. Ever hear of lonelygirl? The description says they will post another video in a week. This sorta thing is an excellent ad, unlike most ads, people actually pay attention to this ad and when it turns out it's an ad for home security, people remember.

The number one sign it's an ad is that the audio and video is just perfect. The door creak is nice and loud, you hear her screeching all over, she reacts with perfect fear. The video quality is excellent, so natural it's unnatural. It almost sounds like studio mics the audio is so good.

Yeah, it could be acting or it could be real? I can't really tell from the audio because my speakers are broken, but I doubt someone with a person locked up in their basement are actually gonna show a video of it.

It's an ad, but as crude as ads are getting nowadays, they should draw a line somewhere. This is a little extreme. Distorting the difference between reality and fiction.

If I had a girl locked up, I'd put it on the internet. Like that guy from "Untraceable" (must see movie) did. I just wouldn't kill/hurt her..

This is strangely reminiscent of a Law and Order episode I chanced upon after Monk. It does seem a little bit "too perfect," but it's best not to discount it solely because of that. Generaly, this is a good time to alert the authorities, because if it's fake, they'll find out. If it isn't, well then, this guy's screwed.

Looks like it would turn out to be a poorly made snuff film, lol.

Notice how her "gag" is held in by one piece of rope. The rope would be pulling on the gag and it would fall out. She's holding it in on her own.
