Default Now this is sad.. [Warning, VERY depressing]

From Digg, here is a picture that has emotions that even I might not be able to put into words...

Well... I don't think i'm feeling anything right now. The news is filled with these kind of story and i've been desensitized from all the stuff that's on the news.

After seeing these kind of pictures on TV for 25 times, It no longer have any effects on me.

eg. the earthquake in China, I have absolutely no feeling towards it even though I'm Chinese and i used to live near there.
It's like... ok... 50 000 people died in earthquake.. that's way less than the people who die of old age...

LOL

Just so you know, to date, thousands more American soldiers died under Clinton's "peaceful" regime than have died under Bush's.

What war......Somalia what?
Thousands more?????????........we would have known; every common american with a tv and a history book from 2000 to now.
What is your proof??????????? My computer is too slow to go to google and google it.
Its sad when soldiers die but they died with honor and they would want us to be strong too for us and continue their legacy by continuing through life being strong. Cause we all know they are at a better place.
So please just sit on down cause Hillary is running for president and you try to make her look bad by defacing her Husband and his prosperous terms in office which didn't effect my money line or put America on recession on the brink of depression.
Back on topic....it is sad but not very much depressing to me cause it is life and unfortunately nowadays this is much more common.
Depressing stuff is unatural unfortunately horrible and painful things.

Ugh, I hate this kind of stuff, but death is a part of life and we just have to move on. I feel bad for all of the troops who have died, but I also feel good knowing that they were good enough people to answer a call they felt to serve. Thousands of people die each day, and they all mean something to someone.

Like how you're trying to make Bush look bad? Good reasoning.

Though I can't brush this feeling off that you are actually being dramatically sarcastic.

Death is just the next adventure, you never know what will come next.

I cannot even remember anymore why soldiers are going overseas.

While you read this i want all of you to keep in mind that I did four years in the Marine Corps and I served two combat tours in Iraq. I've been there, done that and literally gotten the t-shirt.

When I enlisted near the end of 2002, I knew what most of you know right off the bat. I knew that there was a damn good chance that I was going to go to war. Granted the war in Iraq hadn't started but was in the works and we had been in Afghanistan for about a year at this point. I knew that there was a chance that I may not come back.

The hardest thing about it wasn't living in a hole in the ground or eating MREs or having to dig a hole every time I needed to take a sh*t. It wasn't even being separated from family or knowing that one of those mortars that have been going off all day could hit me and end it all.

It was the loss.

The first time I went over there (Sept 04 - Mar 05) we lost two Marines. LCpl Reppuhn and Sgt Davis. I never knew loss like I did the day they told me that Reppuhn had been killed. This wasn't your grandmother who died of old age. This was a 20 year old kid with his whole life in front of him that had it violently taken away. Sgt Davis was not only a motivated Marine but a volunteer firefighter, husband and father of two. Words can not describe the pain and anger that I feel on a seemingly daily basis. Even as I type this out now and look at their names I cry. These are not the only two. We lost 9 during my second deployment.

I get angry at times when I hear about these f*cking politicians that want to end this war now and bring everyone home. Most of these assholes, including the Clintons have never served a day in the military let alone in war because they were busy dodging the draft during the Vietnam war.

i ask myself, what would Reppuhn or Sgt Davis want to happen? Would they want their sacrifice to be all in vain or would thye want it to mean something? I know personally, if I were to die over there I would want us to finish the mission. I would want my sacrifice to mean something.

I get angry when this subject comes up. i think it's funny how people who have never spent a day in a pair of combat boots, lugging a weapon through the desert seem to know what the best course of action is. The audacity one must have to speak on their behalf...

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.[/

United States soldiers live for this country, and they will PROUDLY die for their country.

Though I do not know that soldier, my heart would've been with him and his entire platoon.

From one soldier to another, farewell m8.
