The last day of school....

Well, it was a thursday and Windsor High School's last day (for underclassman), and I had a spanish, world geography, shakespeare, and earth science final. After that day, I would be a sophomore! It was a perfectly normal last day of school, I was done with spanish and world geography, and it was lunch time. It was raining, no big deal, and it was pretty dark outside. I ate lunch and was hanging out inside the school when it started hailing. I was like, "Cool!", and it started getting bigger, about golf-ball size. On the intercom someone was telling all the students to get inside, and somone drove their truck into the school and dropped a kid off, and then drove off. It was pretty cool, until everyone had to get inside a classroom and huddle in a corner away from windows. It hailed orange-size hail for about 5 minutes, the power went out, and then it was silent. There were about 5 minutes of silence until the hail came again, and we were rushed downstairs to press up against lockers. People started yelling about a tornado in Windsor. It evidentally "jumped" over us. We had to stay there for a long time, everyone was trying to find out what was happening, but there was no service for any cell phones. Finally someone said it hit the bank next to Water Valley (the neighborhood that I live in). I don't know if it was that bank that it hit, or if it was somehwere else. The panic died down, and we were told we had to go to our 3rd period. Everyone was trying to get their parents to pick them up, because that was the only way we could leave. We had to go to the lockers one more time, and that was it, we got to go home about three and a half hours after it started hailing. We had no electricity until Saturday at 11:52 P.M. and we had to grill everything so we could eat (no microwave, oven, stoves, fridge, freezer, or anything). The part I hate the most is that Windsor finally gets some attention, gets on national news, has the army patrolling in it, and advanced jets that I have never seen nor heard of before flying over it, we have no electricity to view it on TV (if you know a place where I can see the news on Windsor, please post a link).

I got a few broken windows, but my friend had the tornado go through his backyard, and still doesn't have electricity
