How Many People Do You Know That Owns A Zune

I found out that another of my friends has a Zune, so I now know 2 people other than myself who own one. But there are lots of i***s.

I only know of two who are in the grade below me. My friend got one but he is such a noob he couldn't get it set up right, but then again he does nothing right and he lies out of his arse. I hope one of my friends gets one someday so we can connect together. lol

I bought my best friend an 80GB, my dad an 80GB, and my fiance' a 30GB for Christmas, then 4 of my buddiez from Basic Training and AIT have 80GB's...after I proved to them that the iSuck...suckz.

I know another 5 people that own a Zune. 2 of those 5 are my family members and I got them to get one. The rest are friends.

with the slimmer design, more options, and the touchpad, zunes are becoming ever so popular

i think i posted when this thread first started. i went from zero to three people other than myself with a zune. i'm potentially selling a coworker one of my two zunes so hopefully four soon.

I'm still waiting to use the wireless feature, other than syncing. I sync with the cable anyway because it's faster.

Which brings us to the big problem: The Zune's failure to get market share. 4 percent of the market? For Microsoft that is failure, and a bad one. Remember that 4% includes thousands of people like me who bought a Zune because it was being cleared out at a discount price. I paid $125 for my Black Zune 30. It's worth what I paid, but just barely.

I like it as a media player, but I'm frustrated that I cannot use it as a portable storage device (forget the HD hack - it's too kludgy to be practical). I'm also frustrated that there is no one to swap songs with.

Will Microsoft learn from this failure? Their biggest mistake was once again treating their customers with contempt. Bad software, artificial limits on how we can use the device, overpriced accessories that add little value.

How much money will MS sink into this failed project? In the past they have sunk billions into failed products.

The sad thing is that the Zune was not far away from being a great product. Maybe a killer app or great game will come along and turn things around, but I'll believe that when I see it.
