Zune reads "connected", but software says to connect a Zune
So, I'm new to the Zune world. I just bought a 120 and replaced the battery in it. Also, I just reinstalled XP on my desktop to run the Zune software since I am an Ubuntu user.
When I plug in the Zune, it takes ages for the Zune to read "connected" and the software still says to connect a Zune. Once, it read "sync complete" but there is nothing on my Zune and I could never even get it to connect.
I'm curious if maybe I need to finish the ridiculous amount of updates for Windows and then try reinstalling/updating the software and updating the firmware or if there is in fact a solution to this problem.
Any help would be great.
