Default Can't update a zune 120 to 3.2

Hi!

Ever since the 3.2 update came out together with the new zune software that I seem unable to update my 120gb player to the new firmware. I've tried everything I could think of, including reinstalling the new software and uninstalling the new software and reinstalling the old one but no luck. It never offered me to update it, nor is it available in settings>device>player update. It just shows:

"Your player is up to date.
Current player software version: 3.1 (50)"

Not that it's that much of a deal, but can someone help me update it?

Thanks for your time.

Still unsolved, but my zune died so it's useless.

What happened to your zune, as in it died?
And this shouldn't have been marked as solved.

Isn't it funny? You hear a phone ring, and it could be anybody...

I had that exact problem. Just a quick question. Is the computer connected to the internet. That was the problem for me, even when I downloaded the 350mb version. For some stupid reason MS deemed including the latest firmware in its software un-needed.

To fix it either connect it too the internet and update the Zune software or install the Zune software on another computer, then check if it has the 3.2 firmware bu plugging in your Zune and see if it recommends an update.

If it does, browse to where the firmware is stored
Usually : "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Zune"
](for Vista; XP is similar)(AppData is hidden)([USERNAME] is you user on the computer)

Then copy the folder "Firmware Updates" (or something along those lines) into :
"C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Zune"
folder on the other computer. When you plug your Zune in it should find the relevant update.

Hope this helps,
Shmuli9
