Exclamation I dropped my Zune 4GB in water...

It was rainy out today and slippery so I almost fell and my zune 4gb dropped i a big puddle... it was dark so it was sitting there for a few seconds while i was trying to find it... it's odd because it only works when it's plugged into my computer and the screen rarley gliches... can anyone help me?
Should i Repair it?
Should i get a new one?
or can i repair it myself. i don't have a credit card so i can't get like a repair kit off ebay and since i don't have a credit card i can't get support from microsoft...!

Well, honestly, instead of testing it out to see if it worked right away, you should have let it sit for a few days in order to dry it out, but that point is pretty much moot at this point.

Personally, I think that you should take guitar912's advice if you want to get the Zune HD, but otherwise, try to repair it. I don't really know of any ways to go about doing so off of the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure that there are ways out there.

Stick it in a jar of rice. The rice soaks the water up. Then try it after a couple days. I feel that you have shorted the circuits by trying to turn it back on before it was dry, but try it just to see what happens. If its less than a year old, you can send it off to Microsoft for free.
