Videos won't delete from device

Ok, first off let me say sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find the exact issue. I have a Zune 120gb with the latest firmware (2.20) and the latest software (4.0). I am running Windows 7 (fully updated). I have never had this problem before but today I tried deleting all my videos from the software in my collection, wanting them deleted from the device as well. I have the sync options set to auto sync for everything including videos. The software synced some new music I downloaded, and it looked like it deleted all the videos. When I click on device then videos it shows them all gone, as well as in my collection. I made sure to check every sub-folder in videos (all, tv, movies, etc.) and nothing is there. When I disconnect and look at my Zune about half of the videos are still there. I rebooted the device and my computer and the issue is still occurring. I also tried changing the settings to manual sync but this doesn't make a difference since the videos are simply not showing up in the software. I know I could do a wipe and delete everything on my device but this is the last resort for me. The last time I did that I got a C00something error every time I tried to sync and had to send my zune to MS to get a replacement, so needless to say I don't want to risk that again. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

Edit: Ok so last night I was organizing my music, deleted a couple albums, and downloaded a couple more from the marketplace. I hooked up my zune this afternoon and started the software, so the auto sync would kick in. It did and it added all the new stuff and removed the old stuff including the videos! So I guess this is solved but I have no idea why it worked now and not last night...
