Here's what's happened so far:
- Updated to 4.0 software
- Zune re-added (duplicated) all my songs and playlists for some reason
- I used the collection reset tool
- I deleted all my playlists
- I searched my whole computer for *zpl, *wpl, *pls files, I had none.
- I made 1 new playlist (*.zpl)
- Everytime I opened the Zune software it would duplicate every playlist (going from 1 to 2 to 4 etc.) as *.wpl files.
- I uninstalled the Zune software, redownloaded the setup app.
- Attempted to reinstall, received "zune software is up to date." message (not even installed)
So yeah, I'm pretty much at a loss now... Is there a way to d/l the 3.1 software again? I'm willing to let 4.0 run for a while and get the bugs out before I upgrade again.
