Default Won't Sync newly ripped CDs - Lame code - C00D11CD

My Zune 120 won't sync cds I've just ripped.
It will sync new pocasts. I can delete from the zune and re-sync older cds that I ripped a while ago, it will just not put new music on the Zune. When I try to sync, I get the lame "zune software error — C00D11CD". I've done everything I can find online to this point. I've reloaded my Zune PC software. I've tried other USB ports, tried a new cable, blah blah blah. This morning I completly reformated the Zune, loaded up the firmare - it synced the podcasts right away. It will sync the old music, but still the two most recent CDs that I ripped, which are on my PC, in the same location as the other 700 albums, will not sync.
What else is there left to try?
TIA,
SmokaBoll

What is the exact nature of the C00D11CD error? What is the message associated with it?

I put a new CD in the computer, Zune software pops up and rips it. It shows up in my PC collection. It will plan on my PC. When I try to sync, I get and error and it will not load to the Zune.

I get an Unknown Error Occurred message, C00D11CD (800040002).

That's pretty much it. Everything else seems to work fine. I just can't get new stuff onto the actual Zune.

Maybe try a different program to rip the CD.

I know my dad uses Roxio to rip his own CD's.

I had a very similar problem with my Zune 80 gen2 palyer, only I did not get an error message. I could put music on and it would appear but when I tried ot play it from the Zune it jsut says "item is missing or cannot be played" as if the file is corrupted or and incompatible file type. It works fine from the software though. Im considereing reinstalling firmware at the moment.

How bout a little more information, like what you used to rip the cd's, what settings you used, what format you used....

Right, what I've done is I've copied from the Zune, any music I didn't have on the PC, completely wiped the Zune (using the back + center + play button combo) and plugged it in. It auto-installed the firmware to 3.1 again and now it works just fine. I just have to put 15Gb of music onto it now.

The program I was using was the Zune program and I'd set it to 320kbps quality. It was working under the same settings about two weeks back so I had no reason to assume it was a settings change causing the problem. It seems pretty clear that it's a firmware corruption to me. I was on v3 software and 3.1 firmware.
