Default [SOLVED] trying to sync my entire song collection

OK this problem has been frustrating me beyond belief, so any help would be much appreciated. I have about 1700 songs in windows media player right now, yet for some reason they are scattered over a lot of different folders. My question is, is there a way i can take those songs from windows media player and simply group them all into one folder that the zune can moniter?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is an option. Nor do I think there's a way you can import your library from WMP (leave it to Microsoft to leave us with two incompatible media players). So what you will have to do is go to Settings -> Collection and navigate to all your folders that contain your music. As much of a pain in the ass as this is, I'm pretty sure it's a necessity. If anybody else knows another easier option, feel free to butt in. I don't wanna lead gametime89 onto the wrong path.

So gametime, hang tight for a little bit until we figure out if anyone has a better method.

If you just aim it towards your Documents, which i would guess there all scattered around in there, It will pick them up. You could even do it by the C drive but i wouldn't do that as it would pick up system audio files and program audio files.

Damn thats kinda what I was afraid of. That is bull tho I mean my old Gigabeat synched directly with windows media player and that was made by Toshiba for crapsakes... So for sure theres no way to just drag or save all those songs into one file then?

unless you search for every mp3 on your system, and move it to one file, not really.
