Cracked Screen or LCD? Microsoft now fixes them! (At a cost)

Zune Support now fixes cracked screens and/or LCDs!

It costs $79.99 to fix a cracked screen/LCD. This is less than Rapid Repair if it's the 80/120GB LCD that you need replaced, however, if it's the LCD/glass on a flash Zune or the glass on a 80/120 GB it's cheaper to go with Rapid Repair.
NOTE: As Zune.net states, there can be no other damage to the Zune or they will return it to you unrepaired.

Yeah, I only own a 80GB and I wasn't sure if they changed the prices for flash based Zunes, since their screens are smaller.

its a bad price for a zune 30 where that costs more than buying a whole new zune

Argh... I cracked my Zune's screen last night when I dropped it, I was so upset. I'm thinking I might do this. Has anyone tried this yet though? Do you think Microsoft just sends you a new Zune and then sells your repaired one as a refurb? I just remember when my friend's Zune broke (wouldn't sync with computer) they just sent him a new one and more than likely fixed his.
