I have a zune 120 gig and the latest software.

I tried to plug my friend's zune into my computer to give him some of my music.

Every time I try to sync it, I get this message.

Can you help me with this?

P.S. This has happened with multiple zunes.

You may need to reinstall, or, what you could do instead is take your zune to his house and give him music that way, through reverse sync.
