My Zune was fully charged as of this morning. I unplugged it, then used it for a short while. I downloaded more songs, used the wireless sync. Everything worked just fine, and the battery was still full.
15 minutes later, I come back to get it on my way out the door, and it's dead. 100%, black screen, unresponsive. I plug it in, nothing. No battery indicator, computer doesn't recognize it. I've let it charge for 2 hours and as of now, absolutely nothing. I've tried every possible button combination without even so much as a screen flicker. And no, I've never dropped it. I've treated it like royalty. It looks like it just came out of the box.
I made an account here in the hopes that someone knows what happened/what can be done. I've absolutely had it with returning sh*t to Microsoft.

All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
Check the hold button (if you haven't already done so). If you've tried all the other erase / wipe firmware key combos, then I would agree that it may be time to have it replaced.

There has never been a documented case of a zune crashing due to a media caused virus. Unfortunately your best bet is to send it in, if you do I would reccomend putting a letter in with your zune describing your distaste in quality of the product. Best of luck
