Default HELP! PC would turn off when connecting zune to USB port

hello guys, hope u can help me on this!

I was on the process of charging my zune on my PC since battery is low when i suddenly stumbled into this problem. The computer totally shuts off when i plugged zune USB on PC USB port. PC wont even turn on if zune is still connected. i tried connecting zune on other USB ports on my PC and still the same problem happens - Pc automatically turns off! i tried reseting zune and then connecting it again on my PC but still, it shuts my PC off. i dont think its a USB port problem coz i was able to connect other devices without any hassles..PLS help! Im from the Philippines and we dont have any service centers here for zune! THanks!

that sounds like more of a problem with your PC than a problem with your zune.

At my house we have a tower with a broken front usb, And every time something was plugged in it would short out the computer, Have you tried using a different usb port?

I've tried connecting zune to a different PC. This time, the other PC didnt turn off but zune didnt charge. It kept on displaying this "low battery" icon everytime i press the play/pause button..I drained the battery completely by pressing the play/pause button several times until the low battery icon no longer appeared..then i connected zune to PC but im not seeing a "USB icon" on PC screen that would say zune is connected, nor am i seeing an icon displayed on my zune telling its charging..now what shall i do next? btw, thanks for your reply guys!
