So I didn't use my zune for like a week, and just didn't plug it into a charger during this time, so naturally the battery died. it wouldn't turn on when i tried it. so i plugged it into a usb cable hooked up to a computer. the battery icon came on, then after a few minutes the zune screen with the loading bar came on and went through. After the zune loading screen, found a blank screen with the backlight on. Nothing else appears no matter how long I leave it. I have tried the following things:

-Resetting the zune using the back and up buttons
-Resetting the zune and, when the loading screen appears again, holding the back, center and left buttons to completely format it.
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the zune software before plugging the zune in. The first time i did this, windows XP came up with a "Found new hardware: zune" and left it at that. The second time windows XP did not react.
-toggling the hold switch. It is definately unlocked.
-leaving the zune on with its blank screen for the battery today (actually didn't take long) and then charging it. This causes the zune to display a battery chargin icon for several minutes before reverting to the loading screen and then blank screen (with backlight).

Other things I notice.
-If I turn the zune off by holding the play button, it will then not turn back on unless i reset it.
-Plugging it into a computer it will recognize it as "zune" but the zune software does not see a zune connected.

Can anyone shed light on what I should do now? My last resort is to send it in for repairs.

anyone?

Default i have the same problem

as the title says i do have the same problem, but my zune software does recognize it, sadly i don't any guarantee left, i might send it to rapidrepairs.com so it can be repaired, only hope there's a way to solve the problem without having to send it to repair
