Default Does the 80gb have an audio line out?

Hey guys,
I've looked over the official specs for the 80gb Zune and I don't see any mention of an audio line out via a dock connector. I don't mean the audio coming out of the headphone jack, which always has a distorted or lower volume, but the audio that bypasses the internal Zune amp that can be hooked up to a stereo or even DJ equipment. I know ipods have a true audio out, but again, I never heard anyone address this.

Also, I've heard that you can't turn off autosync like you can in WMP 11 or itunes, but have to 'trick' the Zune software not to erase the songs on your Zune everytime you sync, if you don't want to set aside 80 gb of space on your computer's hard drive. What would be the point of getting a high capacity hard drive digital audio player, if you also need to keep all the same media on your computer? Then I might as well just get a low capacity flash player.

To me, these are huge issues and likely dealbreakers.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

you can set the zune software to manual sync so it doesnt delete the content on your player if you delete it from your hdd.
as far as audio out is concerned i think your only option for connecting to a home theatre is with the headphone jack. i can connect my zune to my 360 to my home theatre through the data port and usb cable but i dont think there is a way to go direct otherwise.

I dont know about the first one
but for the second, connecting as a guest on the zune software solves that problem, its a pretty simple thing to do
Also u can tell the software to not sync ur media, but if u delete stuff off the software, its also deleted of the zune, unless ur connected as a guest

i dont know about a "true audio jack" but when i hook my zune up to my dj equipment (pio djm 707 mixer) or home stereo i get good sound. if ya mp3's are low then its gonna play low. tho i do agree in general the zune output is lower then the ipod . just gotta make ya mp3's louder. a good program i use is mp3gain. you can do a whole bunch at once like batch file processing google it.

also i originaly bought my zune used and it had a few songs and movies on it already i wanted to keep so i always synced as a guest on my computer and have never had a problem with it erasing anything off my zune. also ive finaly recently associated my zune with my home comp and i turned auto sync off and it doesnt erase whats on there. just adds on. also ive did the hd hack and the zalternator/ media monkey sync and that worked good and didnt erase any thing off my zune. just added and actualy put my albums and art correct.

im a bout to erase my whole zune and re fill it thru the media monkey program and sort it correctly. its more itunes like and easier. just remember have your mp3's properly tagged and the volume high enuff.
