I was checking out ads on kijiji while looking for a Zune. I found this guy close by who is selling a brand new 80GB and he's willing to let me have it for $285 (originally $275 but he's bringing it to me). Now, Im very paranoid when it comes to electronic devices and always want a warranty which is impossibe in this situation.
I live in Toronto (Canada) and the guy bought the Zune in Buffalo. He says he's selling it because his PC is ancient and he doesnt have the system req. for it to work properly. Do you think this is a safe purchase? Does the Zune80 really give people so much trouble that I should wait the 2 or so months before it gets here and I can have a proper warranty? I have no mp3 player at the moment because I recently sold my clix 2gb with cradle and all accessories for $175 so that I could invest in a new player. But for the three years that I had my clix I was trouble free. I didn't have to hit the reset button even once.
Let it be known that Im really excited about the Zune.
You can get it cheaper here. Which is also 100% safe. The Gateway store is pretty popular.
There is too many variables to consider for you since you're in Canada and the Zune was bought in Buffalo the warranty might be void. Plus if there is anything wrong there isn't much you can do.
Get it from the link I gave you, it's 10 times better.
