my 80 gig crash so i did the reset ther back and up and now im stuck it wont update from the sotware it gives me the C00D11CD error and will stop at 1%

ive tried it on every usb port, on 2 diff computers same result



ive tried this hard boot you talk about but nothign happens! you can press center and to the left at the same time... can you explain to me if i did this right? it says " 4 Clearing contents"


i saw the microsoft help page on this and nothign worked i stopped the whatevert thing then started it again still no go..


ive only had this 2 days!!! is this that common?

sometimes it will give me a C00D1195 error saying i dont have enough hard drive space avilible but i do.

Uninstall with Unzoone and reinstall again.

ok i did that now it goes to 11% and hangs then gives the error code C00D11CD


i also notice my chime thing when i put the usb in keep going on and off


is my Zune jsut screwd or what? i mean its only my 2nde day id rather not order a new one :/


maybe the sync cable got fried?

Having purchased numerous electronic devices over the years, one thing you will find is...

if an electronic device has a problem it will normally be exposed within a month. Since you are having these kinds of problems after only 2 days, I would immediately take it back and exchange it for a new one. These types of problems only get worse over time, and you do not want to be experiencing this once you are past the return/warranty period.

do not listen to previous post just yet:
i had the same problem with my 80gb seraph(who made a full recovery
what i did was drained the battery and let the zune die for a bit
then i hooked it back to the computor to let it charge
the i re-installed the firmware
then it was good as new
for me at least
