okay, the zune max resolution size is 640x480 which sucks cause this cause zune software to automatically resize all images maintianing aspect ratio down to this.

it makes reading manga/comics or even magazine almost impossible, major strain on the eyes and sometimes they are impossible to read.

is there a way we can hack the max resolution and keep it from converting/resizing the images? that way when you zoom in it will be whatever original file resolution is?

another idea i had, it would help if there was a program that would cut a image in half horizontally making one image two images, this would probably make most text readable when converted to the zune. it would take the font on most comics in zoom from a 6 - an 8 or 10 which would be very readable. if such a program exist please post a link.

im just to lazy to go in and cut the page myself, there has to be a batch program that would do this.

You can't hack anything ON the Zune yet.

The same problem you're having is why I don't read comics on the Zune.

And as far as I know their isn't any hacks for the max resolution, let alone hacks in general for the zune. All I can suggest is cut the page yourself before you sync it to your zune. Or just dont even try to read them off your zune, period. Sorry for not being much help. Was going to start reading manga off my zune aswell, but after reading your post. I guess I'll put it off for now.

even with the correct resolution it would still be very hard to view comics on a Zune 4/8

Have you tried the zoom option? It quadruples the viewable image size, I think.
