Default [SOLVED] AC charger

Hi, before I get started I just wanted to say I love this forum. I'm using zAlternator right now and its one of the best hacks I've ever used for anything. So thanks so much for that.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could use an ipod Ac adapter or dock with my zune. I live in japan so I can't get any of the official accessories and feel cheated by not getting an AC charger with my zune 80.

Thanks in advance for the help.

NO, not all ipod AC adapter will work with zune. Sone cheap generic chargers won't work because it doesn't have required resister value connected from positive and data+ in the usb, thus no charging icon would show up. If you bought one of those non-working charger, simply solder a 15Kohm resister between positive and data+ on the usb connector.
