Default Can't get 8GB Zune to work w/Belkin TuneBase FM Transmitter

Is this a known problem and is there a fix? OR do I need to use another transmitter?

Thanks!

Default Link to picture of Belkin device

My Zune charges OK when connected, but the FM transmitter doesn't turn on when I connect the device. It is brand new. This is also the 2nd Belkin I tried so it is unlikely I got 2 lemons.

The reviews on the Best Buy product description all echo what you say. There are 23 negative reviews of this product, and they all state that the FM Transmitter doesn't work, but the charger does. That seems to confirm it, pretty much.

This is very interesting. Where I work, we sell a Belkin product like this for iPods, and it is wildly popular. I wonder why their Zune version sucks so badly, when the iPod product seems to work well....

Try another product, is my suggestion.

Default Thanks Everyone

I'll try another transmitter - Zune accessories are terrible.

Yeah, echo that. In fact, that Belkin that you had is supposed to work really well with the Zune 30. Just happens that it ain't the thing for your 8. Quite strange.

Try any old FM transmitter that plugs into your cars outlet. Those tend to work good.
