It simply means it runs off flash memory, instead of a harddrive. It's more durable,(because it has no moving parts) but often is lower capacitys than HD
well if you drop a flash drive kind of mp3 player, it'll have a less chance of it dying mainly, but if its a hard drive player, then theres a bit more chance of it dying.. flash drive max so far is about 128 gig, but not out for mp3, for mp3 max is 32gb right now which is ipod touch and creative zen. no other companies using 32gb flash yet.

Yes, it is 80 gig.. but when the 80 came out, apple didn't have the 160, the zune 3 will surely compete with this storage copacity... hopefully beat it.
I should mod my ipod 30 gig video, b/c currently it's a piece of crap. so lagged up, glitches all the time, and has a really low battery life.... i need a zune! lol
i found a video tutorial all you have to do is open the zune and remove the caseing unplug the hd and plug in the new one close it up and sync thats realy all there is i was blown away with how simple it was
