Copying Podcast From Zune To PC

I made a mistake and accidentally deleted two podcast in my Zune software, which also removed them from my PC permanently.

I still have the files on my Zune. How can I transfer them back to my PC?

I tried dragging the files to the computer icon (add to collection) in the Zune software, but the files did not transfer.

Help?

Go to podcast section under device in Zune Software. Select the podcast you wanted, then select add to collection.

You could also use a program to undelete your stuff from your harddrive.

That's what I said I did and it didn't work...that's why I came here for help.

I probably did a poor job of explaining my situation...

Here's what's happening...

I use Replay/AV to record a radio show from my Sirius satellite radio receiver. I record it as an MP3 into a directory I've set up specifically for this show. I then tag the file as a podcast so that my Zune software will add it to the Podcast directory. When I'm done listening to the full show, I move the file out of the synced folder to an archive folder I keep.

Today, I accidentaly deleted the file in the Zune software.

I was in the Collection---Podcast menu and accidentaly deleted the podcast, which also deleted the file from my PC. It didn't move the files to the recycle bin...just permanently deleted them.

However, I still have the files on my Zune device.

I went into the software Device---Podcast menu and tried dragging the files to the computer icon to copy the files to my collection but it doesn't seem to be working.

So...I have the two podcasts I accidentaly deleted from my PC on my Zune. How do I get them back onto my PC from my ZUne if I'm unable (I don't know why) to drag them from the "device" to the "collection" within Zune's software?

I didn't explain my method correctly. YOu said you went into the software device----podcast menu and tried dragging the files to the computer icon to copy the files to your collection but it doens't seem to be working.

That's what i've been tried to tell you to do.

When you drag the podcast into the computer icon on the bottom left, the number "1" with an orange box should show up.

That's what i've been tried to tell you to do.

Again...that's what I've been doing but it doesn't work.

Anyway...I found a way to do this...I installed the HD Patch and used explorer to go into my Zune and copy the files I needed.
