Video Podcast issue

So I can get an audio podcast to work like a champ, no problems.
However, video podcasts do not work. They do not show up at all. Not under podcasts, not under video, no where.
It does show as being on the device, but like I said, the device does not list a video podcast after syncing.
Yes, I have deleted it off and re-downloaded, I deleted it from the Zune 80 and re-synced, I manually synced, I've tried all I can think of short of wiping my Zune clean. There are too many movies on there to wipe clean at this point.
Anyway, the video podcast is in my collection and on my device, but it just does not show up.
Any advice?

Have you tried restarting the zune? Back button + Up.

I've been having this issue too. I do one of two things or both if needed. First I either move the video file to another folder that the software monitors for video. If that doesn't work, I use my Cucusoft software to modify the file where Zune will like it, keeping it in the new folder. I think there's free software out there that you can use but I like Cucusoft. It's a pain right now till they get it fixed but 3 out of 4 times it works. I think that the new Zune software doesn't except most video types and all the older videos I had were already transfered to a Zune format so they are fine.
Another thing you can try that I forgot about, try downloading it from itunes instead of Zune. I think I did that once and it worked fine. Good luck.

Did you "Subscribe" to the podcast? If I remember correctly Video Podcasts only started Syncing once you subscribed to them. This might have changed with v2.3 though.

Did you correctly set all your settings?

Under Settings-> Podcast-> select keep all + Newest episode first.


Under Collection-> Podcasts-> Settings (the one on the bottom right cornor) -> Select Keep All episodes of this podcast + Newest episodes first + Sync all downloaded episodes

By doing the above 2, it should fix almost all of your podcast problem

No I did not subscribe to that particular podcast. I will have to try the latest post advice after work today, then I will shoot back a status update. I am sure it will work, I have the latest firmware update, the audio podcasts do work, and Im not too shabby with computers' hardware and software. With all of your help, it should be up and running today. Thanks.
