my laptop having a hard time to detect my zune it takes awhile to detect...what shoud i do?...

Try to use a different port. Are you plugging your zune in while it's on or off (try both).

Try resetting the Zune.
Hold the back button and up on the middle button together for 4 seconds.
That will reset it.
Reconnect your Zune and that should do it.
