Default Partial syncing of music files

How do I select which of my music files I want synced with the Zune?

I do not want Zune to add everything in my library.

I have 50+ GB of music. I ripped all my CDs (450+ of them) to MP3 at 224kb/s and it all simply doesn't fit on the Zune.

I want to only put certain albums and playlists on the Zune. How do I do this?

Thanks for any help.

First off, make sure you don't place the albums in a Zune monitored folder. In other words, create a "Music" (any title works) folder somewhere on your computer, and add all your music there. Then simply drag and drop the album folderings containing the music you want to place on the device, onto the Library window of the Zune software. Then simply tell the Zune software to synce your Library.

I believe you can also add all of the albums to your Zune Library, and then simply select and drag the ones you want to synce to the synce menu (left side of the Zune program), and the press the Synce button, but I believe you have to change your settings in your software, so it doesn't think you want to synce you WHOLE Library.

EDIT: As a simply note, simply add all your music to your Library (still keeping the music in a folder that isn't monitored by the Zune software) and then select and drag the music you want to synce to the side sync box. Press "Sync", and it should Synce *only* the songs listed in the box.

Also remember, any songs you don't want to keep on the device, you can simply remove. :-D

Right click, "Delete", "Delete from library only."
