Default Update won't complete

I went update my Zune player yesterday from 3.1 to 3.2 or something like that. It made it to step 3 of 4 and now won't complete. I go to get out of Zune and it tells me if I do that my device might be unplayable. I tried looking on the Zune help site, but nothing there will help me. Any ideas? If I disconnect it, will I really not be able to play it?

same exact thing happened to me last week. looked at some zune help sites and tried a few suggestions offered (there is a fix to download listed someplace, i will look for it) but could not make any of them work. in fiddling around with the zune i noticed that it was updated (in contradiction to what the screen said, so just went on to disconnect and use it........ successfully. worked for me but can not promise it will work for you.
