Problem with start-up volume

The problem that I have with my Zune 30gb is when I turn on my Zune, and play a track it starts the volume at 7. It always starts at 7 instead where before the zune firmware update, it remembered the last volume setting. This is annoying since I have IEMS so playing tracks with IEMS aren't a great idea since the sound is much focused although I do apply trackgain to make the track 85 dBs. I wonder if any other of you guys who use the 30 gb ever had this problem. I might just uninstall the firmware and see if it helps, if not, it must be a firmware issue then.

and its actually not a bad thing..imagine you ware listening to a song at a very high volume9you were caught in the moment) and the next day you turn it on to play a song...catch my drift?

Thats how it is? there must be an explaination.

Regardless whether the volume is up at 9 or higher its a behaviourthat is not necessary. Even so, starting up the volume at 9 and selecting the radio is bad enough since it is IEMs.
