Hello. I just bought myself a used Zune 30 'cause my old MP3 player(Sansa c240) broke down. My problem is this: My old mp3 player used to show up on my computer as a removable disk and i got used to that. Now that i bought the Zune, i realized the whole sync process isn't for me because my songs don't have accurate ID3 taginformation and i like to easily put songs on my device. so i searched the forum and found some ways to see my Zune as a removable disk but they didn't work for me(some files named HDPatch and HDD_Patch and a registry manipulation). so i was wondering is there something i missed on the forums. My Zune 30 firmware version is v3.1(50) and Zune PC Software version is v4.0.740.0. I'm not a fan of downgrading the firmware because there is a risk of bricking the zune but if that's the only way and there are a lot of advantages i might do it. Please help...
Unfortunately, the Zune hard drive hack no longer works. You will be unable to access the files that are actually on the Zune device through something like Windows Explorer, and there is currently no way to do so.
