Zune 30 GB Baclight only on

how could I fix the zune 30 gb when only the backlight comes on, is there a trick that'll make it work again, they call this the black screen of death.

try letting your battery die and then charge it and try again.

i did that, nothing comes up, the battery sign, faintly comes on, and then it goes back to the backlight, then when i connect it to my pc, it does the same thing, just the backlight.

have you tried resetting the firmware?

is resetting the firmare pressing the back button, and the up button on the control pad? because if it is, yes i've tried that too, it just turns the backlight on, and nothing comes up

Sorry, bad wording, that's resetting the device. I mean deleting the firmware off of the device, plugging it into your computer, and reinstalling everything.

Press and hold Back-Left-Center
Wait for it to finish clearing then plug it into your computer.

I've done that..many many many many times, and everytime t just lights up, the zune logo doesnt appear or anything.
