Default Zune won't sync any video

I've been trying to add video to my Zune for a few days now but none of them will sync. They're all wmv format. During sync it says 1% coverting but nothing happens, and it eventually says error (C00D002f). I've tried adding video that I deleted a few months ago and taking video off and resyncing, nothing works.
I've had this zune for a few years and have never had problems with video, so I don't understand what could've happened.

wma videos are DRM protected and thus will not work .try searching on google for a DRM video removal tool or try converting the videos to mp4

I also have a similar problem, but with content that I am recording using Windows Vista Ultimate Media Center (is content that I record over FiOS in MCE supposed to retain its protection?).

Is there a way to regedit the Zune so that it will play the protected video files?

regedit has nothing to do with zune (device) and the device can only play the formats that it supports (same goes for the software) and what format are your videos in?

They are all recorded in Windows Vista Ultimate MCE - dvr-ms.

Try to use the Unzoone tool, then reinstall software and sync again.
