Default Wireless SYNCING Problem with my Zune 30.

I go to Settings>Device>Wireless Sync and then click on "Set Up Wireless Sync" like you're supposed to, right? So it then searches for a network, and properly identifies the name of mine. I click on "Use Selected," and then I get this pop up box where I have to enter the network password/key/whatever it's called. I enter the password, click enter, and then it gives me this screen saying "Can't connect" ...blah, blah, blah. Now I am positive that I'm using the correct password, because when I unplugged the usb connection from Zune to computer and logged on my wireless network to access Marketplace via my Zune, it worked just fine. I also tried entering the password to my network in the software more than eight times now, and it's still giving me the "Can't Connect" screen. I even went as far as opening Services to make sure all the Zune related services were enabled and running- and even their dependencies.

I'm running a laptop connected to my wireless network, and I'm trying to get my Zune to sync with said laptop. Does the laptop have to be physically connected to any of my network hardware (router and whatever else) in order for this process to hook up correctly? I'm running Vista 64 as well.

What do you think I'm doing wrong here?

Bleh. I never used wireless sync. You should just use the cord sync, it's faster and wastes less battery.

It does sound strange, and I don't really know the cause of it. Try and remove the encryption from your network and see if that works.
