[SOLVED] Serious Zune 30GB Prob

So I gotta problem:

Zune 30gb
Latest Software/Firmware

Happened: Yesterday.

So early in the morn [around 10am] I woke up and started listening to RJD2. When I was done, I held the play button down for 3 seconds like I always do to put it into standby.

Then I put it on the charge on my pc to sync stuff and whatnot, then hours later, we decide to get some food [mushroom swiss burger, Hardy's, mmmm] and I go to play some music, and my zune shows the zune logo when it boots, then cuts off, shows it again, cuts off again, shows it again, cuts off, then shows the battery sign. Im pretty positive it was charged enough. So i cant do a thing, so I plug it in, and it boots all the way, and when it goes to go black and show the main menu, it starts the boot sequence again. And it gets caught in an infinite boot loop. So I do the hard format [holding back, mid and left] while its plugged in [thats the only way I can get it to stay up long enough to format it] and it does good, so I reinstall the firmware [and games! ], then it resets as normal, then gets caught in that damned boot loop.

This EVER happen to ANYONE?

The battery of your Zune has died. I'm assuming that you can use the Zune when is plugged in. Since this is the case, the battery has lost its charge causing the Zune to have not enough batter life to start up and therefore causing the problem. Unless you want to open the Zune yourself you'll need to send it in to Microsoft to get it fixed.

Ah cool, mmk. I didnt know whats up, and Ill have to open it myself, cause MS doesnt have any 30gb's to give me in return for it. Ill just get a battery and have my friend replace it
