Stuck on boot screen, i dont think its the 2k thing

for the past 2 weeks my zune has been stuck on the zune logo and has a complete loading bar. i can only get the zune to start when pluged into my moms laptop(mine crashed). when first pluged in i get the charging screen. after installing the software the first time i could get the zune to register with the software but now it wont. btw idk if it would help but the mid-low region of the back of my zune is now unusually warm

I left it on overnight and it now turns on and plays music but still wont show on the zune software
