Default Not deteced by software and Battery levels off

Hello again,
I have a problem with my zune. I fully charge my Zune overnight and in the morning, use it for about an hour. However, in the evening when I go to turn it back on, it shows an exclamation mark inside of a drained battery. I then have to plug it in to charge it.

After about ten minutes on the screen with the plug on a drained battery, it turns on to show the battery at near 100% life. How can I fix this?

Also, my Zune software is not detecting my Zune, even though it's plugged in and charging. Help please?

Specs: Zune 30GB, 3.1 Firmware with installed games

first: Try to use unzoone to uninstall the zune software then reinstall it.

second: Could you not be pausing or stopping the music and it continues to play?
That could explain the dead battery.

I hold the play button to turn it off and make sure it's off before putting it away.

I'm uninstalling it now, will return with results.

By the way, my warranty is already up, and I got it in November.

There are battery replacement kits on eBay; would it be a good idea to do that or just try complaining to Microsoft?

Well seeing as your warranty is up, i doubt complaining to MS would do anything. You can try one of those battery replacements but do so at your own risk.

I guess I may as well try. And I especially should if I can't get it to connect to the software. If it connects, I might just put it off, seeing as this isn't a huge problem or anything.
