I need to copy files from a Folder on my PC that are sorted by dates. I've downloaded about 300 podcasts as .mp3s. I have folders labeled by week 1-52. A few .mp3s with the same name like 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 are in each folder.
Now, I would like to be able to just drag and drop these directly to my Zune 3.1 as an attached device on my PC as it were a USB drive. However, I need to use really clunky software that is way too graphical for me. HOW CAN I SIMPLY DROP MY STRUCTURE INTO ZUNE AND HAVE an AutoPlaylist or something that is in a sequential order. I have to use the friggin' software to simply move files. The $100 USD I spent on this is a total waste since I have wasted at least hours now getting this crap software to simply follow the Folder-File layout on my PC to Zune.
For Please sake, can somebody who wrote this software explain how to make it work like a freaking USB drive without Graphics and Drag and Drop. I simply want to load my unlabeled podcasts in the order they were downloaded week by week. I don't want a recursive search through my folder structure to give me a massive list of the same named .mp3s. PLEASE MICROSOFT FOLLOW THE DESIGN OF YOUR PC SYSTEMS WHICH 100s of MILLIONS of PEOPLE USE. This is really frustrates. I could have bought 5 ipods considering the time wasted so far.
Oh, by the way I've tried the Registry Hack which is apparently not working with the 3.1 upgrade. I never would have upgraded if knew that beforehand -- ARGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
