Installed Zune Software but Zune is missing driver

Hi, I'm new to the website, and I have a 30 gb (brown) zune version 1.1 (322) hardware 2.0 that I have never used besides listen to the radio with.

So I finally decided to install the software on my computer and transfer some songs to my Zune. I have installed it several times but I keep getting this error:



I am missing the ZuneUsbTransport.dll, where can I obtain this? I have googled for it and searched countless webpages for hours and no luck, but I did find a similar request for help with no solution http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/gen...-dll-file.html. So can anyone please direct me to the solution?

Google is your friend.
Make sure you scan the file with a virus scanner before moving it anywhere.

Thanks for the reply SilentWalrus, but I have visited that website before to "download" the dll file. It only leads me to a spam website - not an actual download.

I uploaded it myself, that should do it.

hey im having the same problem but i just tried the second site and tried to download it but it says that my computer cant open the file and needs somethign else to open it so i tried and it wont let me help?

If that's the exact file you need, just save it into the Zune directory of your hard drive.
It'll go:
My Computer>Program Files>Zune>Driver>...
The ... is where you save the file.

i dont get it im not a wizz on a computer but im getting the same error message he is gettign that he showed and i just tried to download it and it says my computer cannot open it i get the message:

"you are attempting to open a file of tpe 'application extention' (.dll)
these files are used by the operating system and by various programs editing of modifying them could damage your system
if you still want to open the file, click open with, otherwise click cancel

Don't open it.
Just download and save the file to the path I specified in my earlier post.

but

the dl is for a 3.0 software? do you have one for 1.0? cause i downgraded cause i wanted the asian fonts ^^...also i had recently reformatted..i cant believe it wont sync!
